Historians Conrad Stoesz and Ernie Braun will lead you through key historical sites, sharing the fascinating stories of the Mennonites who first settled in Manitoba.

Fall at CMU

Canadian Mennonite University invites all to celebrate the beginning of the academic year with Fall at CMU, 10:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

Leisurely walk through the market with over 30 food and craft vendors under the big white tent, enjoy music led by student talent, be amazed by the Bubble Man with your children, watch cyclists race around the winding course, play corn hole with new friends, reminisce with old ones.

Gaza Ceasefire Pilgrimage

Gaza Ceasefire Pilgrimage. On March 16 people will gather at St. John's Park, Medicine Garden in Winnipeg for a Lenten Pilgrimage in solidarity with the Palestinian people of Gaza. Pilgrims will prayerfully map Gaza onto their bodies as they embark on a 42km journey symbolizing the trek Palestinians have made from Khan Younis to Rafah to escape Israeli bombings. Along the way we will hold prayer vigils and plan to visit companies in the weapons industry located in Winnipeg.
