Join a virtual prayer meeting with Mennonite pastors in Burkina Faso. There has been a military coup today in Burkina Faso, with the military taking control from president Roch Marc Christian Kaboré. Pastor Calixte Bananzaro, president of the Mennonite Church in the country, has asked Mennonite Church Canada to join in prayer that bloodshed would be avoided and that peace would be restored in the country. Pastor Bananzaro and his wife Noelie will speak at this meeting to share their faith stories and how this situation is affecting the church.
