June 25, 2020

Event Date:
Thursday, June 25, 2020 to Thursday, April 1, 2021
Location:

Celebrate a century of Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) with Mennonite Heritage Village’s exhibit "MCC 100 Years." 2020 marks the centennial anniversary of MCC, a non-profit charity established in 1920 with the purpose of providing humanitarian relief to Mennonites experiencing famine, violence, and war in the former Soviet Union. Since its inception, MCC has expanded to become a global organization whose work includes disaster relief, humanitarian aid, development projects, and peacebuilding initiatives around the world. This exhibit, produced in partnership with MCC, explores the roots of MCC in the 1920s and deepens our understanding of MCC’s global presence today. It will be on display until April 1, 2021. The Mennonite Heritage Village is located in Steinbach, Man.
