Parkland Restorative Justice Executive Director-Community Engagement Coordinator
Parkland Restorative Justice is a community faith based restorative justice ministry based in Prince Albert, SK.
Duties:
: To work in collaboration with the Program Manager, Board of Directors, volunteers, stakeholders, offenders, and staff at Saskatchewan Penitentiary to fulfill the mandate of Parkland’s aims and goals.
: Community engagement to encourage more volunteer enrolment and promote fundraising.
Qualifications:
: A clear understanding and passion for restorative justice, respect for the teachings of various faith traditions, and an understanding of the impacts of colonization with a dedication to reconciliation.
: Relevant post-secondary education.
: Understanding of non-profit leadership and community engagement.
: Communicate well in both oral and written form.
: Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
: Experience with public relations, grant writing, and public speaking.
: Ability to work flexible hours.
: Familiarity and work experience with offenders in Federal/Provincial Corrections.
: Clean criminal record, valid driver’s license, and be required to have a CSC security clearance.
This is a full-time, 37.5 hours per week, position. Start date TBD.
