First Mennonite Church of Winnipeg is an LGBTQ+ affirming congregation with a love for music and a growing sense of our calling in matters of peace and justice. We are located close to downtown Winnipeg with active members spread throughout the city and beyond. We are approaching our 100 year anniversary which finds us tending to the health of our roots while welcoming new members and building new relationships in our neighbourhood.
We are looking to fill a 0.5 FTE Associate Minister position with the following areas of focus.
● Worship Leadership
● General Pastoral Ministry
This position would work with and be responsible to the Leading Minister.
In coordination with the Ministerial Team and Worship Committee, the Associate Minister will oversee the organization and delegation of our worship services. They will nurture and encourage lay participation and leadership of all ages, reflecting the diversity of our gifts.
