MEAT: A healthy online discussion

Every day, we all make many decisions about what to eat. It’s complicated; the shelves are stocked with ethical dilemmas.

We contend with high prices, a dozen kinds of breakfast cereal to choose from and ever-evolving appeals to our consciences: organic, local, grass-fed, plant-based, low-carbon, free range, pasture-raised, farm fresh, natural, etc.

What’s a Mennonite to do?

 

The panel will include a young rancher and two seasoned vegans, hosted by editor Will Braun.

Sandy and Jason Yuen live in Toronto where they attend Toronto Chinese Mennonite Church.  In an article in the March 29, 2021, issue of Canadian Mennonite, they invited honest dialogue on the links between a plant-based diet and compassion, peace and care for creation.
