The Brubacher House Poetry Project is looking for self-composed, previously untranslated German Mennonite poetry to be included in a bilingual collection of works from Waterloo Region poets. The project’s goal is to maintain dialogue across generations within the local Mennonite literary tradition by translating these works. Works written in German or Pennsylvania Dutch are both encouraged. Email submissions and an author statement to brubacherpoetryproject@gmail.com. The project will culminate with a public reading in the spring.
