Susan Schultz Huxman called to EMU



Eastern Mennonite University (EMU) of Harrisonburg, Va., announced on April 13 that Susan Schultz Huxman is their candidate of choice for EMU’s ninth president. The Presidential Search Committee, which includes representatives from the EMU Board, faculty, staff, students and alumni and from the Mennonite Education Agency (MEA) Board and Mennonite Church USA, will finalize this appointment by the end of April. Huxman has been president of Conrad Grebel University College, Waterloo, Ont., since July of 2011. Prior to her appointment at Grebel she was director of the Elliott School of Communication at Wichita (Kansas) State University.
