New executive director for Anabaptist Disabilities Network

Kathleen Nofziger Yeakey of Goshen, Ind. has joined the Anabaptist Disabilities Network (ADNet) as executive director, to complement the work of Christine Guth, who continues as program director. Nofziger Yeakey, who has over 20 years of experience in working in development and public relations with non-profit organizations, began working half-time in the Elkhart office on May 18, 2015. Nofziger Yeakey looks forward to providing leadership to ADNet’s relationships with Anabaptist conferences and congregations, expanding the ways families and persons touched by disabilities are included in community life and guiding the ongoing development of helpful resources for which ADNet has already become known. Organized in 2003, Anabaptist Disabilities Network is an inter-Mennonite advocacy ministry committed to supporting congregations, families, and persons touched by disabilities and to nurturing inclusive communities. —Anabaptist Disabilities Network
