MEDA convention to be held in Richmond, Virginia

LANCASTER, PA- MEDA (Mennonite Economic Development Associates) has scheduled its 2015 convention for Richmond, Va., Nov 5-8, 2015. David Greene, host of NPR’s Morning Edition, will headline the annual event, which will take place at the Omni Richmond Hotel. The convention, a long-time symbol of the excitement of our world-changing organization, says a MEDA news release, will also feature James Loewen, author of the American Book Award-winning Lies My Teacher Told Me. Full and half-day tours will take advantage of Richmond’s rich culture and history, including trips to Colonial Williamsburg, a service trip to a Richmond foodbank, and a tour of Richmond International Raceway.
