Bridgefolk sponsored online event, January 27th, 7-8 p.m. CST.
It will be an interactive presentation by Jennifer Otto with small-group discussion in breakout rooms, based on the topic of her upcoming book on Martyrdom. Her talk will locate the split between Anabaptists and Catholics in the sixteenth century within the larger patterns of disagreement, reform, and rupture over the course of Church History, as well as look at ways that the possibilities for reconciliation and “re-membering” that the 500th anniversary of the first adult re-baptisms provides.
